Small House Health Care Center in AlexandriaAt Goodwin House Alexandria, we offer a bright, beautiful Health Care Center (HCC). Our goal? To provide innovative, person-centric care. Opened in 2017, our HCC was designed in the “small house” model of nursing care. This revolutionary program is built on our progressive philosophy and reflects our dedication to innovative architecture and design.
We’ve transformed nursing facilities into homes. Residents enjoy private rooms and home cooking in their open kitchens. They come together around the dining table and enjoy time with neighbors, family and friends in the open living room. Combining a very homey atmosphere with 5-star Medicare nursing care, our Alexandria Health Care Center has nine households, with each household serving as a home for 10 residents. We also provide adjoining rooms for couples.
Our Goodwin House Alexandria Health Care Center offers residents a private bedroom and a generous sized en suite bathroom. The households feature beautiful common great rooms, full-service kitchens and supportive areas to promote community, family and individualized care. Residents have access to green spaces and to Goodwin House Alexandria, which provides more than 500,000 square feet of senior care facilities on one campus.
